What we do
Mine-to-port logistics engineering: mineral terminals, heavy-haul rail, access roads, high-voltage transmission, power and water, from APS pre-design to execution drawings.
Mines earn nothing until the ore moves. The infrastructure practice treats terminals, rail corridors, roads, transmission and water as one logistics system, taken from APS pre-design through structural sizing, execution drawings and cost estimates, with marine works literacy from dredging to shiploading.
Proposed the design and construction-preparation program for the three components of a major integrated iron-ore development in Central Africa (mine processing infrastructure, a long-distance ore-transport corridor, and a marine export jetty with large-scale ore storage), together with the companion national-standard environmental and social impact assessment spanning some sixty baseline, trade-off and management-plan work packages, fielding a multidisciplinary study team of nearly thirty.
